Responsible for supporting the Learning and Development (L&D) Team at Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona (GCNA) and its affiliated entities. This role involves contributing to a variety of learning and development initiatives to enhance the overall body of work.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides facilitation support for in-person and virtual learning sessions as needed. Collaborates with the Training Technology team and Organizational Development Team to track data, identify learning gaps, and offer up learning solutions based on Adult Learning Theories. Ensures the quality and consistency of training materials and delivery methods, seeking feedback from participants and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement. Collaborates with subject matter experts in order to effectively communicate learning updates and initiatives across multiple areas of the business. Stays up to date on the latest Learning and Development trends as it relates to executing effective learning experiences. Facilitates development conversations with learners and offers training opportunities to help further their career growth. Supports all learning experiences through communications, calendar invites, material preparation, and other related administrative tasks. Coordinates logistics for virtual and in-person sessions, such as room bookings, A/V equipment, and learner resources. Partners with the Technology Team to support the management of courses, groups, notifications, and enrollment rules in our LMS, Workday. Keeps accurate records of training attendance, evaluations, and other related data. Responds to Team Member inquiries regarding learning opportunities and program details. Maintains regular and consistent in-person attendance. Performs other related duties, as assigned. Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills):
High School Diploma, GED required. 1+ years of presentation experience/group facilitation required. Proficient in MS Office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Ability to work at a fast pace proactively and collaboratively. Outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills; customer service orientation. Ability to deal with ambiguity and to deal with multiple priorities. Ability to set high standards of performance for self and assume responsibility and accountability for completing assigned tasks. Experience planning, organizing, and coordinating events or programs. Ability to read and write English proficiently. Valid driver's license and clean MVR Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for the position.
