Learning Manager, Amazon Transportation Services - Relay Operations CenterThis role will be located in Tempe, Arizona.

The Learning Manager (LM) is an active member of the Relay Operations Center (ROC) Leadership Team, driving and supporting site performance and network initiatives. The Learning Manager (LM) actively leads a team of managers and trainers including their development and overall productivity. The LM must ensure the work of the team is aligned to meet internal customer needs. By partnering with operations, building support teams, Senior Leadership and external customers such as ACES, HR and Business Partners, LM's drive positive impacts on the key business metrics including safety, quality, productivity and customer experience. The Learning Manager oversees the day to day operations of the learning organization within the ROC including, but not limited to, associate and manager onboarding/training and compliance with policies, procedures and standards.
Key job responsibilities Maintains proficiency, development, and compliance trainings, ensuring targeted metrics are achieved or exceededManages their department to established Benchmark standards, auditing and implementing actions to sustain and improve department performanceSets and communicates goals and objectives across multiple teams including Finance, Operations, Support and Business PartnersEffectively contributes to the operational strategy, including both financial and learning inputs/outputsUses available data and tools to analyze and construct strategic plans which maintain and/or improve associate and leader performanceContinuous Improvement subject matter expertEnsures processes and changes are communicated and that teams are prepared for implementation and adoptionSimplifies complex information to construct executable plansEffectively composes verbal and written communication and identifies the appropriate forum for eachMinimum Requirements 5+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience5+ years of team management experience5+ years of cross functional project delivery experience5+ years of program or project management experienceExperience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvementsExperience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadershipExperience with performance metrics and process improvement and Lean techniquesExperience with six sigma methodologiesAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
