The Role
As a Development Coach, you will be delivering the Level 4 Learning and Skills Mentor to a caseload of around 20-30 learners. This is a hybrid role: whilst the majority of delivery will be from home – remotely, you will hold 3 x 4-day residentials in Hampshire.
The role will involve:
Leading a caseload of learners to support them to achieve their apprenticeship with monthly teaching sessions using a blended delivery approach (currently delivered remotely).Regularly assess work and provide constructive feedback including SPAG and update the E-Portfolio system (Smart Assessor).Supporting learners to achieve their FS Level 2 in English & Maths if they do not hold these on entry.Identifying and supporting learners with additional learning needs.Taking responsibility to ensure safeguarding, PREVENT, British Values, Health, Safety and well-being and equality, diversity and inclusion are promoted and monitored continually in all areas of the job role.You'll be joining a leading national training provider at an exciting time of growth and expansion, working in a fun and supportive environment in an organisation with a strong focus on people and culture.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEAssessor Award CAVA or TAQA Level 3, A1, D32/33 or equivalent.Teaching Qualification, PTLLS or equivalent.Recognised Level 4 or above in a coaching/mentoring discipline.3 years of occupational experience in coaching/mentoring gained within the last 5 years.CPD in mentoring practice within the past 2 years.Apprenticeship delivery: 1 year (required)

– Teaching and assessing qualifications (required)
– Level 4 or above qualification in Coaching and Mentoring (required)
