LEASING CONSULTANT Position Overview The Leasing Consultant is responsible for leasing and administrative duties as well as maintaining positive relationships with the residents within the apartment community. They should have strong organizational and communication skills, be dependable and self-motivated. They also must have excellent people skills. This candidate will be cross trained to work at two local communities and will assist with leasing and administrative duties associated with both communities. Must be willing to travel between two local communities as needed.

Job Description Leasing Greet prospective residents and provide information on floorplans, availability, amenities. Obtain prospective leads information and continue follow-up procedures. Become familiar with the leasing process from application to lease signing. Understand and comply with Fair Housing Laws and all company rules and regulations. Offer input and suggestions regarding promotions, advertisements and other various strategies. Complete market surveys as requested by the Property Manager. Administrative Assist residents with service requests. Light accounting tasks such as delinquency management, check scanning, and coin collection. Plan and implement social activities/gatherings in common areas. Conduct follow-up with residents when necessary to ensure overall customer satisfaction. Assist with move-in/move-out process (inspections, distributing key packets and literature, collecting rental payments and/or missing paperwork, etc.) as directed by management. Perform other duties as assigned. Other Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee will need to travel from floor to floor and will need to travel outside between buildings in varying outdoor weather conditions. The employee will also be regularly required to remain in a stationary position (sit or stand) for 85% of the time; regularly use hands to operate office machinery and regularly be required to communicate effectively with others. Occasional lifting may be required.
