We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Leasing Manager to join our team, for our Northwood Apartment property.
98 units.
As a Leasing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the leasing process, managing tenant relationships, and ensuring the overall success of our properties.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service skills and a background in property management.
*Duties*
- Develop and implement leasing strategies to attract and retain tenants
- Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants
- Screen and qualify potential tenants through background checks and credit screenings
- Negotiate lease terms and rental agreements with prospective tenants
- Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including inspections and lease signings
- Address tenant concerns and resolve any issues that may arise
- Oversee property maintenance and ensure that all units are in good condition
- Collaborate with marketing team to develop effective advertising campaigns
- Utilize property management software (such as Yardi) to track leasing activities and maintain accurate records
- Stay up-to-date on local housing regulations, including Section 8 and LIHTC requirements
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a leasing manager and/or customer relationship management or property management is required
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with tenants
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Knowledge of facilities management practices and property maintenance procedures
- Familiarity with Section 8 and LIHTC regulations is preferred
- Proficiency in using property management software (such as Yardi) or CRM systems is a plus

Essential Job Functions:

Accurately complete all applicant, lease, and resident paperwork.

2 years of strong customer service and/or sales experience.
