DESCRIPTION: Summary: The Leasing Specialist performs job duties that support leasing and management of Maiker's apartment communities. Responsibilities include marketing and leasing activities, customer service, member management, regulatory compliance, and program documentation.
The Leasing Specialist sets and meets goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) focused on customer service response time, occupancy, timely collection of move-in funds, member satisfaction, and compliant and accurate documentation to maximize property performance and support to members.

Leasing Consistently apply Fair Housing Standards to day to day activitiesGreet prospective residents and provide tours of the Community and available unitsBook leasing appointments, complete and enter the guest card into YardiDisplay strong closing ratio of 30-50%Complete and file all necessary leasing documents, prepare necessary paperwork for move-inSubmit needed documentation to Compliance vendor for approval prior to move in or renewal Ensure all utility transfers have been madeCollect all necessary funds prior to move-inPerform the functions of an Assistant Manager in their absence or in a two person officeDay-to-Day Job Duties (Assignments to be completed as directed by Community Manager)
