A well-established TN based law firm involved in some of the largest litigation matters, investigations and business transactions in the country is looking for a Legal Administrative Assistant to join their team in Nashville. The Legal Administrative Assistant would perform the following duties: Provide general administrative support to attorneys and paralegals, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and arranging travel. Prepare, format, and edit legal documents such as correspondence, pleadings, contracts, and briefs. Ensure documents are accurate and comply with firm standards. Maintain and organize physical and electronic files for active and closed cases. Ensure that documents are properly filed and easily accessible. Serve as a liaison between clients and attorneys. Handle incoming calls, respond to client inquiries, and manage client correspondence. Assist with time entry and billing processes. Ensure that attorneys' time is accurately recorded and assist with the preparation of client invoices. Conduct basic legal research as needed. Enter and update information in the firm's databases and case management systems. Manage court dates, filing deadlines, and other critical dates. Ensure that attorneys are aware of upcoming deadlines and appointments. File legal documents with courts and other relevant authorities. Manage e-filing processes and ensure compliance with filing requirements. Assist with maintaining office supplies, managing equipment, and ensuring that the office environment is organized and efficient. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience in administrative support in the legal services sector. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software's.
