LHH Recruitment Solutions seeks a Legal Administrative Assistant (Commercial Litigation) in Potomac, MD.
The Legal Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to the commercial litigation practice group.
This opportunity is full time, direct hire, and fully in office.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to attorneys specializing in complex commercial litigationType and proofread legal documentsManage and organize case files, ensuring all relevant documents are properly filed and easily accessible; maintain digital and physical filesCoordinate with clients, court personnel, and other parties involved in litigationHandle e-filing and service of court documents in both state and federal courts in Maryland, DC and VirginiaMaintain attorney calendars, deadlines, litigation dates and reminders; schedule and coordinate meetings, depositions, hearings, and other appointmentsSet up and maintain digital and physical pleading bindersGenerally assist attorneys as needed with secretarial and administrative support Qualifications:
4+ years of secretarial or administrative support in a commercial litigation department/practice areaKnowledge of legal procedures, terminology, and court rules related to litigationE-filing of pleadings in both state and federal courts in Maryland, DC and VirginiaExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient with Microsoft Office (expertise in Microsoft Word), iManage, and able to effectively use other litigation softwareTyping proficiency Salary range of $65K-$85K
