About the job To join one of Saudi Aramco's Subsidiaries. This position requires full relocation to Saudi Arabia. Job Title:Legal Advisor Location: Al Khafji, Saudi Arabia Company: Saudi Aramco Subsidiary Job Purpose Providing legal counsel and guidance on various legal matters, ensuring that the organization's operations and activities comply with applicable laws and regulations. Job Dimensions and Business Metrics Highest level of confidentiality and access to information which unauthorized disclosure could be expected to have a severe or catastrophic adverse effect on organizational operations, organizational assets, or individuals Key Accountabilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as required. Provides legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on a wide range of legal issues, including contracts, regulatory compliance, employment law and other. Reviews, drafts, and negotiates contracts, agreements, and legal documents. Ensures that contracts align with the organization's legal and business objectives. Monitors and ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. Identifies legal risks and develops strategies to mitigate them. Assists in resolving legal disputes and conflicts, including litigation and alternative dispute resolution methods. Collaborates with external legal counsel as needed. Participates in the development and revision of company policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance. Provides training and education on legal and compliance-related matters. Conducts legal research to stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the organization's operations. Provides legal opinions and recommendations based on research findings. Strictly follows established environmental, health, safety and quality policies and procedures in order to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/services and a responsible environmental attitude. Undertakes accountabilities in the operational excellence process as set out in the schedule of responsibilities. Contributes to the processes of continuous improvement for the area assigned. Performs any other relevant task as directed by Corporate Governance & Shareholders Relations Manager. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education, Certificates, Licenses, Registrations and/or Experience 5-8 years of experience in Legal/General Counsel field preferably in oil & gas sector. Academic background includes a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in law or equivalent. Licensed, admitted to practice, and in good standing in Saudi Arabia, United States, Canada, England & Wales, the European Union, or an equivalent jurisdiction.
