We have great opportunities available to work in reputable law firms as legal assistants, secretaries, and certified paralegals in the Shreveport and Bossier City area. The ideal candidates should be tech savvy with proficient data entry, typing 65 wpm+, 3+ years of experience in a legal firm, a paralegal studies certificate, or an associate in Paralegal studies. Real estate and mortgage experience is a big plus.
The right candidate will arrive to work before work hours start, dress professionally, and represent themselves in a courteous and inviting way-DAILY.
We offer:
-Full-time Monday to Friday
-8 am to 5 pm with an hour for lunch
-Pay rate $15-19/Hr. based on experience
-Daily improvement
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
-Provides administrative support.
-Basic office/clerical tasks including filing, data entry, and use of office equipment such as fax machine/copier/printer.
-Answers phones and greets customers.
-Maintains records and fills legal forms.
-Drafting documents, mailings, pleadings, and dictation.
-Proficient in Word, Excel (Moving data and importing), and Outlook.
Work experience and qualifications:
-Education/Qualifications High school diploma required, Associate's Degree in Legal Studies or higher preferred, or Paralegal Certification.
-3+ Years of legal experience, preferably in real estate
