Our employment litigation law firm in Natick, MA is growing and in need of a full time Legal Assistant.

The Legal Assistant is responsible for providing support to firm attorneys by performing a variety of administrative duties, operational tasks to support the functioning of the office, and assisting with cases.

Responsibilities/Duties Answer phones; screen and direct calls as appropriateConfer with potential and existing clients to gather factual informationAssist in drafting correspondence and documentsMaintain calendars, schedule meetings, and arrange conference callsCreate, revise and proofread letters and various legal documentsPerform legal and factual researchCreate and maintain electronic filesAssist with prospective clientsPerform other duties as assignedSupport team as needed Required Skills and Qualities Ability to effectively present information verbally and in writingSkilled typing ability and knowledge of Windows, software, and related applicationsProficiency in MS WordStrong attention to detailMust be able to work collaboratively in a team environmentAbility to use diplomacy and discretion in relaying informationPunctual and reliableCan organize, prioritize, plan and multi-task work activities, with the ability to effectively meet deadlines in a high-pressure environmentOffice experience requiredFull-time, Monday through Friday availability during normal business hoursBA/BS required Benefits: Competitive salary, paid holidays, PTO, health, dental, vision insurance, 401(k) matching.
