HWS Law Group, an established, reputable, medium-sized firm (with offices in WA and OR) is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant, specifically one that has at least 3 years of experience with litigation.
The work environment is genuinely collaborative. This legal assistant would be supporting the managing partner, so plenty of opportunity to learn new skills, and managing caseloads.
Responsibilities ** Document preparation and management.Drafting correspondence and motions.Filing documents with courts.Opening new matters.Calendaring.Coordination of travel arrangements.Preparation of expense reports; andOther various tasks necessary to keep a busy practice moving smoothly. ** At least three years of legal assistant experience in a fast-paced litigation practice.Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.Experience with court filings (including e-filing) in King, Snohomish, Pierce and Spokane Counties. Federal court experience is a plus.Excellent language and communication skills.Strong organizational skills with superior attention to detail.a positive attitude; andThe ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
