A creditors' rights and collections law firm in Wilmington is seeking a legal assistant to join their growing business. Legal experience is highly preferred, especially in this practice area. This is a Direct Hire, on-site position in Wilmington, NC. Responsibilities: Review and draft document Contact and update the court system Manage the calendar Make copies and e-file documents Handle direct client communication Qualifications: Legal assistant or paralegal experience preferred Experience in the commercial creditor's rights and collections space Experience handling replevins and bankruptcies is ideal Attention to detail Strong organizational skills Excellent communication both verbal and written Solid work ethic with initiative Compensation & Benefits: 35,000-55,000 based on experience in this space Health, dental, and vision insurance 401k plan Paid time off Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm on-site
