Details for Legal Receptionist: Schedule: Monday - Friday 9am-5:30pm Pay: Up to $23/hr. Hiring Immediately Job Responsibilities & Description for Legal Receptionist: Operate high-volume duplicating equipment and perform related copying tasks. Handle shipping and receiving of products and supplies, sort, distribute, and manage incoming/outgoing mail and faxes; apply necessary postage. Perform copier maintenance and repair, ensuring equipment is operational and reporting issues as needed. Provide various building support tasks, such as meeting room setups and light maintenance. Operate bindery and finishing equipment (e.g., paper cutters, staplers) for final job preparation. Conduct quality control checks, especially for sensitive and confidential legal documents. Handle reception duties, requiring strong telephone and customer service skills, often interacting with executive-level customers. Perform inventory management for office supplies, copier areas, and maintain service logs. Calculate job charges and keep accurate billing records. Address customer questions regarding job requests, feasibility, and status updates. Deliver completed projects to designated customer locations, including inter-building transport. Maintain organization and stock levels in copier and convenience areas. Process and ship materials; receive, inspect, and distribute incoming supplies. Assist with office occupant moves and light maintenance (e.g., re-lamping). Set up meeting and conference rooms per client specifications. May involve occasional cleaning duties and off-hour emergency responses. Operate scanning equipment, perform file conversion, naming, and manage electronic TOC (Table of Contents). Use OCR (Optical Character Recognition) and file formatting for enhanced document searchability. Provide professional support to executive-level end users (e.g., legal secretaries, paralegals, associates, partners). Complete time-sensitive projects, often under high-pressure deadlines. Coordinate projects for off-site completion as required. Job Requirements for Legal Receptionist: HS Diploma or GED required 1-year legal office experience required Able to lift up to 50lbs Required to stand and walk throughout the shift
