Level Ii Dental Assistant

We are looking for a dedicated and motivated dental assistant to join our growing practice!
In this role, you will play a vital role in supporting the dentist and ensuring a positive experience for our patients.


Responsibilities: Chairside Assistance:Assist the dentist during patient exams, procedures, and consultations.
Prepare treatment rooms, ensuring they are clean, organized, and sterile.
Help with the application and removal of dental materials (fillings, crowns, etc.).
Take dental x-rays (following all safety protocols).
Suction and hold instruments during procedures.
Maintain a clear field of vision for the dentist.
Patient Care:Greet patients warmly and make them feel comfortable.
Update and maintain patient dental records.
Schedule appointments and answer patient phone calls.
Provide oral hygiene instructions and education on proper dental care.
Explain treatment plans and answer patient questions in a clear and concise manner.
Administrative and Clinical Support:Sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Stock treatment rooms with necessary supplies.
Assist with insurance and billing processes (as applicable).
Perform other duties as assigned by the dentist.
Qualifications: Dental assistant certification (preferred) or experience in a dental setting Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and equipment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Friendly, compassionate, and professional demeanor Proficiency in computer software (dental practice management software a plus) Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunity to work in a positive and rewarding environment Career growth and development opportunities
