Licensed Mental Health Therapist (Psychologist, LCSW, LMFT, LPC)
Hiring Licensed Mental Health Therapist(s)to join our team, as we expand our provision of mental health and behavioral health services and our diagnostic/evaluation services. OBC has multidisciplinary clinics in Thornton, CO, and Delta, CO committed to providing a range of services for individuals across the lifespan. Our team offers a transdisciplinary approach where Clinicians, BCBAs, SLPs, and OTs work to integrate services and support our patients and their families when needed. Our OBC Mental Health team is committed to helping those experiencing anxiety, sadness, depression, isolation, withdrawal, socialization and relationship challenges, and educational and work challenges. We provide services for toddlers, preschoolers, children, adolescents, teens, and adults in a one-to-one and/or group setting, as well as services for parents/caregivers and families. We also offer developmental, psychological, and neuropsychological assessments for toddlers, preschoolers, children and adolescents, teens, and adults.
As part of OBC, Licensed Therapists will be expected to demonstrate the knowledge and skills needed to manage and provide appropriate and ethical treatment for the developmental, behavioral, and mental health needs of individuals across the lifespan. Primary responsibilities include the assessment and treatment of individuals with a variety of MH needs. Desired job skill requirements & responsibilities:
Demonstrate knowledge and experience in human development, cognitive and developmental profiles, social-emotional functioning, and behavior analysis.
Demonstrate knowledge and experience in a range of mental health interventions and therapies.
Demonstrate knowledge and experience related to adherence to ethical guidelines, clinical standards, and related federal and state laws.
Maintain accurate and confidential notes, files, and billing documentation, as required by HIPAA and the State of Colorado.
Maintain professional licensure and any certifications, as required by licensure boards and related professional agencies.
Maintain documentation for insurance panel requirements (CAQH).
Experience with telehealth delivery systems.
BONUS: Demonstrate knowledge and experience in the evaluation and treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders, including Autism Spectrum Disorder and Intellectual Disability. Experience with the ADOS-2 and the ADI-R is valued.
Provide direct clinical services to clients, including conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering individual and group therapy sessions.
Supervise and mentor interns and other mental health professionals, providing guidance and support in their clinical work.
Manage the day-to-day operations of the mental health hub, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
Collaborate with community partners, including local agencies, schools, and healthcare providers, to build strong relationships and establish effective referral networks.
Stay up-to-date with community resources and services to provide comprehensive support to clients.
Participate in regular team meetings to discuss cases, share knowledge, and collaborate on treatment planning.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Conduct regular performance evaluations of staff and interns, providing constructive feedback and identifying areas for growth and development.
Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in the field of mental health, and incorporate this knowledge into the development and delivery of services.
Participate in professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge in the field.
BONUS: Chemical dependency certification or experience in treating substance use.
Required Qualifications:
Licensure in the State of Colorado, with a license in good standing.
At least three professional references.
BONUS: At least 1 year of post-graduate, clinical experience.
