New graduates welcome to apply!Our employees enjoy *Paid time off, sick pay, vacation time and continuing education credit!**Responsibilities*:* Provide direct patient care by providing therapeutic exercise, therapeutic activity, neuro re-education and manual therapy in the office setting under the direction of a Physical Therapist* Document findings in patient's notes and therapeutic progress notes in a timely manner* Conduct training sessions as instructed by the physical therapist to improve patient understanding of care and follow-up procedures*Skills*:* Proven working experience and education as licensed physical therapist assistant* Comfortable working with patients who are of any age and comfortable making decisions based on facts* Excellent knowledge of medical terminology, health care principles, and safety guidelines* Empathizing and positive attitude along with excellent customer service skills* NM state license as Physical Therapist Assistant requiredJob Types: Part-time, Full-timePay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hourBenefits:* Paid time offMedical Specialty:* Physical & Rehabilitation MedicineSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Monday to Friday* No nights* No weekendsAbility to commute/relocate:* Farmington, NM 87401: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)License/Certification:* CPR Certification (Preferred)* Physical Therapist Assistant NM License (Required)Work Location: In person
