New graduates encouraged to apply!Our employees enjoy *Paid time off, sick pay, and continuing education credit!**Responsibilities*:* Provide direct patient care by implementing therapeutic exercise, therapeutic activity, neuro re-education and manual therapy in the office setting under the direction of a Physical Therapist* Document findings in patient's chart and therapeutic progress notes in a timely manner* Conduct training sessions as instructed by the Physical Therapist to improve patient understanding of care and follow-up procedures*Skills*:* Proven working experience and/or education as Physical Therapist Assistant* Comfortable working with patients who are of any age and comfortable making decisions based on needed progressions* Excellent knowledge of medical terminology, health care principles, and safety guidelines* Empathizing with patients and displaying a positive, encouraging attitude along with excellent customer service skills* NM state license as Physical Therapist Assistant requiredJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hourExpected hours: 25 – 40 per weekBenefits:* Continuing education credits* Paid time offMedical Specialty:* Physical & Rehabilitation MedicineSchedule:* 4 hour shift* 8 hour shift* Monday to Friday* No nights* No weekendsLicense/Certification:* CPR Certification (Preferred)* Physical Therapist Assistant NM License (Required)Work Location: In person
