Licensed Physical Therapist (Pt Owned- No Weekends)

About Us: Kendall Physical Therapy is a local clinic that is rapidly growing and is owned and operated by a Doctor of Physical Therapy from UIC.
The aim of Kendall Physical Therapy is to offer high-quality, one-to-one personal physical therapy between therapists and patients.

Our full-time PTs can see up to 8-10 patients daily.
Responsibilities: - Provide 1:1 physical therapy to patients - Assess patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Administer therapeutic exercises to improve patients' mobility, strength, and function.
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for home exercises and self-care.
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Document patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with professional standards with OptimisPT software.
Requirements: - Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
- Experience working in a hospital, out-patient or healthcare setting is preferred, but recent graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- Ability to perform trigger point therapy and other manual therapy techniques.
Willingness to learn and possibly become certified in dry needling, cupping therapy, myofascial release, and Graston technique.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Strong problem-solving skills to develop appropriate treatment plans for each patient's unique needs.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
