Quality Staffing, Inc., also doing business as Goddard Mason Executive Search, a leading full-service employment agency matching qualified talent with some of the area's top companies, is looking for experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to work through our agency as a contract employee with the State of Tennessee Department of Corrections in Nashville, Tennessee. This is a night shift position working three (3) 12.5-hour shifts per week from 6:00 pm to 7:00 am and the pay rate for this position is $50.00 per hour.LPN Job Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Communicating with outside departments, including answering questions and providing teaching as needed.Attending scheduled departmental meetings to keep the Healthcare department involved and aware of issues with the other departments.Provide and supervise orientation for new Healthcare department employees and new teaching to current Healthcare department employees.Prepare staff nurse schedule and communicate to vendors.Help to resolve scheduling conflicts and manage staff needs.Solely responsible to take after hours call-ins and find nursing staff to maintain Healthcare coverage as required by the facility.Frequently come into work or stay late to cover vacancies.Work very closely with physicians.Prepare Healthcare records for physicians' clinic visits.Ensure physicians' orders are transcribed and followed through upon to ensure the Healthcare needs of the adolescents are taken care of.Healthcare supplies: check and maintain supplies needed for the Healthcare department.Compliance: maintain records and other documentation to ensure the Healthcare clinic always remains in compliance.Minimum Qualifications for LPN position:Must have a registered Licensed Practical Nurse License with the State of Tennessee or holds a privilege to practice in the State of Tennessee under the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).Valid driver's licenseLocal to the Nashville areaMinimum Requirements Upon Hire:Current American Heart Associate/BLS CPR-Basic Life Support Provider that is active for at least 1 year *(we ONLY accept AHA/BLS, we DO NOT accept American Red Cross; we DO NOT accept online CPR certifications).A 2-Step TB Skin Test *(must be willing to provide results of this test 2 weeks before starting position upon hire).MUST be willing to receive the Influenza immunization annually.MANDATORY orientation upon hire *(6 days for nurses).MUST be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Benefits Include:Weekly Pay/Comparable WagesMajor Medical InsuranceIndemnity Medical, Dental and Vision InsuranceTerm Life Insurance and Short-Term DisabilityInterested?
