\n What You'll DoMaintaining established policies and procedures, standards of practice and resident rights, quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control, and other regulatory requirements. Assess and evaluate Residents' abilities and needs as necessary. Coaching and teaching Residents and family members as needed. Assigning, directing, and supervising Resident Assistants in quality Resident Services. Administer medications and treatments to residents as directed by their physician. Taking physicians' orders, episodic charting, and maintaining accurate Resident medical records. Assisting in making level of service determinations. Arranging for adequate supplies and properly functioning equipment. Responding to emergency situations. Meet the psychological needs of residents by maintaining their dignity, providing privacy and confidentiality, and giving gentle and sincere attention to their desires and service needs. Assisting with other duties as necessary for the smooth operation of the Community. Maintain a qualified, efficient staff. Participate in planning and projects/teams as necessary. Enhance professional and personal growth and development. Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises employees while on duty. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. What You NeedOne-year certificate from college or technical school. Completion of advanced teaching in the insertion of gastric tubes. Completion of a certified course in IV and blood drawing. Knowledge of skills necessary in the assisted living setting. Knowledge of Residential Care Facility regulations is desired. Good interpersonal relationship skills and previous experience working with elders desired. Computer skills are a must. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSLicensed by the State of Ohio Board of Nursing. Completion of required hours of pharmacy and additional pharmacy training qualifying to pass medications. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, document notes/medical records, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw or interpret bar graphs. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only a limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally help lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Salary & BenefitsLocation: Greenville, OH. Shift Type: Full Time. Shift Hours: 3x12s, 6 am - 6 pm, rotating weekends. Pay Range: $22.00/hr - $29.03/hr (based on experience).
