Overview

Dallas Regional Medical Centeris a 202-bed acute care hospital accredited by The Joint Commission that offers a wide range of medical services including 24/7 emergency care, cardiology, wound care, surgical services, cardiac catheterization, and imaging.
The hospital is the only Certified Stroke Center, Accredited Chest Pain Center, and Labor and Delivery Unit in the area.
In addition, Dallas Regional is the only Trauma Center for 13 miles, and was the first Accredited Geriatric Emergency Room in Dallas County.

Responsibilities

TheLVN/LPNprovides direct and indirect patient care services requiring clinical competence within the scope of practice in accordance with state requirements.
In collaboration with the healthcare team, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the LVN/LPN works to maintain safety, provide patient comfort and care and improve the overall patient experience in the Maternal Child Health setting.
Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1.
Current and valid state license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse

BLS certification within 30 days and maintain current3.
NRP certification within 90 days and maintain current4.
Basic Fetal monitoring certificate required 60 days and maintain current
