KEY RESPONSIBILITIESProvides direct care and nursing services within their scope of practice to clients as prescribed by program regulationsObtains client data and vital signs and reports findings to the RN/Nursing Supervisor/Licensed prescriberDocuments nursing progress notes as neededProvides discharge teaching and summaryMonitors for efficacy and side effects of medicationsDevelops nursing care plans for children with medical needs under RN supervisionParticipates in multidisciplinary RoundsCollaborates with psychiatrists to coordinate the psychiatric care of clients throughout their treatment courseProvides first aidMonitors medical and dental health parameters of clients and collaborates with health care providers in the community under RN supervisionMaintains records, including but not limited to Medication Administration, medical records, etc.Maintains medication cart and emergency medication suppliesAssists psychiatrists with communication and coordination with parents/guardians, school, pharmacies, and health care providersExperience and SkillsEDUCATIONMust hold a current LPN license in CTCPR certifiedEXPERIENCEMinimum of 1 year experienceAbility to multi-task while managing emotional states remaining calm and practicing patienceJob BenefitsAs a Village employee, you should feel confident that your health and well-being is one of our highest priorities.We offer eligible employees and their dependents comprehensive, flexible benefits.https://thevillage.org/our-benefits/
