Provide individual/family therapy as ordered or as patients needs indicate. Assist with crisis situations as applicable.Document as required by policy and procedures including assessments, patient/family events as they occur, patient group participation, patient progress on treatment goals/staffing, discharge planning.Involves collateral contact/support system in the treatment and discharge process as per policy. Attends meetings as scheduled and provides necessary input including treatment team, departmental and hospital based; facilitates communication, notifies team members of pending problems/issues. Establishes and maintains good relations with referral sources; is courteous to patients/families/visitors; resolves complaints with patients, families, referral sources as applicable.Establish therapeutic rapport, respect patients rights/patients privacy; maintain confidentiality, identifies mandated reporting needs, maintain appropriate boundaries, and follow all hospital/corporate ethical behavior as well as conflict of interest standards.Other duties as assigned/required.Education: LCSW, LMSW, CSW, or RSW credentials. Masters degree from an accredited school. Licensed in the State of Louisiana. Work experience: Experience with acute inpatient psychiatric treatment and/or intensive outpatient care preferred.
