We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) who is IV certified with at least one year of LVN experience and a minimum of one year of prior infusion experience.

Qualifications: Education: Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited school.
Licensure: Current, unrestricted LVN license in California.
Certifications: Intravenous (IV) Certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
Experience: Minimum of one year post-graduate LVN experience; at least one year of recent infusion experience.
Proficient in IV catheter placement and monitoring for complications.
Skilled in aseptic lab drawing and subcutaneous injections.
Strong assessment and monitoring abilities to quickly identify medication reactions.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Competence in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and other computer applications.
Ability to provide age-appropriate education to a diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities: Patient Care: Greet and care for patients respectfully, ensuring timely and safe care.
Administer prescribed medications following drug protocols and within scope of practice.
Assessment and Monitoring: Conduct vital signs and nursing assessments, observe and report patient conditions and reactions, and document in EMR.
Education: Provide individualized patient education regarding treatments, answering questions, and distributing educational materials.
Safety and Compliance: Follow the Five Rights of medication administration, adhere to OSHA and HIPPA regulations, and demonstrate infection control and sterile techniques.
Emergency Response: Confidently respond to emergencies and document interventions.
Team Support: Assist and support colleagues in all aspects of patient care, maintaining timely patient flow and documentation.
Compensation: Hourly Pay: $32 - $36 per hour, based on experience and expertise.
