Life Science Project Manager
Job Description Summary
The Life Science Project Manager will assist in supervising the activities of all outside contractors, construction and onsite staff.
This individual will also be responsible for working with property management personal and attending tenant improvement construction meetings.
This includes developing weekly reports, creating punch list items and following up with contractors to make sure all outstanding work is completed in a timely manner.

Essential Functions
Provide day-to-day supervision of contractors performing one time projects and tenant improvement projects for building owner as well as capital projects.
Provide daily & weekly updates to building owner on progress of above projects.
Responsible for conforming to competitive bid procedures.
Attends weekly meetings, reconciles the maintenance requirements of individual areas so that facility maintenance needs are met.
Ensures that all work performed under his/her supervision is done in a timely and cost-effective manner according to the applicable codes.
Site contact for all one-time special projects, tenant improvement projects and capital projects Use building systems such as Automated Logic and Angus Anywhere to maximize the available technology, systems, and programs to operate in the most efficiently and effectively manner.
Provides the customer with cost savings initiatives for review and approval.
Ensure that environmental policy and procedures are being adhered to within the facility.
Must be able to be available for scheduled after hours projects.
Ensure compliance with regionally directed or client directed procurement programs, and process PO's and invoices; maintain tracking mechanisms of all expenses.
Assist in reviewing and engineering, with the customer representative(s), any plans or specifications for additional maintenance, construction and renovations.
Assist manager in maintaining a safe facility by training the staff on life safety systems and emergency procedures and programs per CW Services programs as it related to new systems or projects.
Ensures that all facilities under his/her responsibility are safe and comply with all Federal, State and Local Laws.
Oversee various construction projects and confirm all work meets building standards and codes.

Qualifications Three to five years of Facility Management or Project Management experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
Must observe and comply with all standard safety codes and practice, and perform work in accordance with recognized trade and C&W Services standards.
Must be capable of reading and interpreting plans, specifications, and operational manuals associated with his/her work.
Must be proficient with the use of a computer and all Microsoft Products.
Must be quality-focused and customer service oriented.
Prior life science experience preferred but not required.
