The Lighting Designer is primarily responsible for supporting the weekend broadcast lighting needs to foster an engaging Life.Church weekend experience at all Life.Church campuses. This role is part of the Central Experience team, creating lighting master show files, developing comprehensive training documentation, and owning the span of care of existing systems, supporting all Life.Church campuses.

The Lighting Designer utilizes their skill set to deliver outcomes that align with the direction of the Broadcast Support team to further Life.Church's mission of reaching people for Christ.
\n What You'll DoDevelop technical design for campus projects, involving Technology Solutions and Construction and Design teams as needed.Provide support for the Technology Solutions help desk and assist in managing gear-related deployment to campuses.Support and maintain all lighting equipment in broadcast facilities.Provide each team with regular support and maintenance of campus visual and lighting equipment.Coordinate lighting and system design needs with the campus teams for organizational events, such as All-Staff, Family Reunion, OSM, Sisters, and pre-produced messages.Collaborate with the Experience Team, Global Arts Team, Worship, Technology Solutions, and Campuses to determine lighting needs as required by Pastor Craig and the DLT.Act as a key resource for technical questions or issues that arise from organizational, technical systems.Develop and maintain relationships with lighting equipment manufacturers and other key vendors.Oversee onboarding and recruitment of contractors and provide span of care to volunteers and existing lighting contractors.Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to assist with the execution of projects and events.Provide project management and oversight in collaboration with Technology Solutions on decisions and projects for lighting-related systems.Maintain a high level of working technical knowledge of all lighting equipment and research new trends and products regularly. Skills Needed to SucceedExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to maintain relationships and partnerships.Maintain a systematic and organized approach to completing assignments accurately, thoroughly, and timely.Clearly explain complicated and detailed processes in a concise and simple way.Ability to self-motivate, take initiative, make independent decisions, and problem-solve.Ability to collaborate in a team environment and work independently.Knowledge of MA2, MA3, Vectorworks, Visualization Technologies (Depence, WYSIWYG, VISION), sACN, Art-Net.High School Diploma or GED.1-3 years of related work experience.
