Salary Range: $25.2900 - $38.9200 /hour.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Under general supervision, this position assists physician/provider with all general medicine or specialized medical practice duties as a Medical Assistant within the scope of practice.
As the limited X-Ray Technician, this role performs diagnostic x-rays within their licensure for patients of all ages and assumes responsibility for accuracy under the direction of the radiologist.
Performs diagnostic procedures within licensure and produces high quality images using correct anatomical markers.
Gathers pertinent previous studies, films, and patient documentation to submit to Radiologist for interpretation.
Uses multiple EMR systems such as IDX, Allscripts, and GE-RIS and GE-PACS for scheduling, charge entry, patient history, and verifying images.
Rooms patients, consults with provider as needed, collects information.
Assists with phones, documentation in EMR, and stocking supplies.
The limited x-ray technician is also responsible for all duties relating to the darkroom.
Responds to and participates in all medical emergencies and codes.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Required:
High school Diploma or GED Required
Graduate of a State recognized vocational School
Requires 2+ years of experience as a Back Office Medical Assistant/Limited X-Ray Tech in an ambulatory care facility or medical group practice
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Windows
Knowledge/experience with GE RIS and PACS
Preferred:
Associate or Bachelors' degree in healthcare-related field
Working Knowledge of EPIC or other Electronic Medical Record system 'EMR'
Qualified bilingual or multilingual candidates
Certifications Required:
Certificate of completion from an accredited limited radiology program, including digital training
XT X-Ray Permit in torso, extremity, chest and digital imaging
MA Certificate
Current CPR Certificate
