ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Product inspections Verify correct product names, codes, and dates are used; then placed on current menu. To prevent defects the employee will assist in the on-line visual inspection. Inspect for leaks and broken packages. Prior to assembly, ensure all components of the accessory packs are accounted for. Assembling of product Must be able to maintain line speeds with repetitive gripping, grabbing and placing of items into bags, boxes, etc. Stack all items and insert on menu bag using the correct order. Ensure all menu items, accessories, and components are assembled according to menu specifications. Prepare menu bags for sealing and boxing. Sealing Receive menu bags to inspect for correct placing of products and components. Verify correct menu bag to make sure proper codes and dates are being used. Placed bags through sealing machine. Inspect proper sealing, looking for defects on the seals. Package of Assembled Product Receive assembled and sealed menu bags then place them in proper container. Inspect seal on bagging and product. Looking for breaks, leaks, or other defects. Insert correct menu bags in container, and move container to final assembly. Assist QA, MPC and Final Assembly with delivery of items to be inspected. Other duties as assigned. Education High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree) equivalent preferred. Training Requirements
To perform this job assignment an individual must meet the required job specific training located in the Training Register.
Language Skills
Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is sometimes exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee is frequently exposed to extreme cold, extreme heat, and vibration. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places and in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and potential exposure to sulphuric acid (electric battery), potential exposure to carbon monoxide from propane fueled forklift. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
