Full-time / Seasonal / $20 h + $18-$23/h in Tips + Robust Benefits Package Westward, a busy, lakeside restaurant from Chef Renee Erickson and partners, is looking for Back of House professionals to join the team! We seek to hire the position of Line/prep Cooks.

We are in search of a team player who is highly motivated, detail-oriented and willing to learn. Humor, compassion, professionalism and strong work ethic are all necessary components of the job. Westward seeks a hospitality professional who is able to set, execute and maintain high-quality food and presentation under pressure while maintaining a positive team interaction.

This is a full-time, hourly, seasonal, non-exempt position.

Training wage: $ 19.97 to $ 19.97/hour
Starting pay: $20/hour to $20/hour plus tips
Pay range for position: $20/hour to $24/hour plus tips.
This is a tip-pooled house. Tips are calculated daily x hours worked - $18-23 per hour.

Sea Creatures is looking for team members who are able to set and maintain high levels of execution while bringing creativity, authentic generosity, and enthusiasm to the role.

Requirements for the position: 2 years minimum experience working on the line, hot, pantry, or prep.
Oyster Shucking experience preferable.
Excellent knowledge of cooking procedures and safety measures.
Curiosity about food and the desire to learn.
Hold active state-required permits.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and spend up to six hours standing/walking.
Must be available to work nights and weekends.

Paid time off / Paid Sick Leave -
o For part-time (Working 25 or fewer hours a week /seasonal employees) - As required under Washington's Paid Sick Leave law, the employee will be accruing 0.025 hours of Paid Sick Leave for each hour worked.

o For full-time employees (Working 25 or more hours a week): the employee will be accruing 0.038 hours of Paid Time Off for each hour worked up to 80 hours a year. After 5 years of working with the company, the employee will start accruing 0.057 hours of Paid Time Off up to 120 hours a year.
