The Liquid Measurement Technician I must be team oriented, proactive and goal driven.
This position is responsible for operating various types of liquid provers without direct, daily supervision.
All work is performed under the general supervision of the Operations Manager.Responsibilities:Create and maintain job tickets; Operate various types of liquid provers with a general understanding of all associated equipment;Obtain spot and composite samples, transport hazardous and/or non-hazardous materials;Determine API gravity and S&W;Troubleshoot and repair measurement-related equipment;Other duties as assigned.
Requirements 3 months liquid measurement experience preferred;Maintain a DOT Certification and/or CDL A License (No Restrictions);Maintain good standing status of OQSG quals: CT039, CT271, & CT60; Maintain required State measurement certifications and quals;Knowledge of AGA/GPA/API Measurement Guidelines, BLM, and State regulatory requirements preferred.Education:High School Diploma or equivalent.Relocation:This position is not eligible for relocation.Travel Requirements:This position requires local travel and periodic out of town travel.Work Schedule:This position will work 8-16 hours Monday-Friday in SPL's Floresville, TX location.
This position is subject to overtime availability to meet deadlines.SPL does not offer sponsorship of employment-based nonimmigrant visa petitions for this role.
