The Literacy Education Information System (LEIS) Data Specialist enters assessment data for students enrolled in the College and Career Readiness Program.
This includes pre/post-testing data, registration data, and graduation data for students completing their High School Equivalency diploma or Adult High School diploma.
This position troubleshoots and corrects any issues with data while ensuring all data is accurate for performance-based funding and FTE purposes.
The position reports to the Director of College and Career Readiness.

Utilize ADVANSYS for LEIS information and documentation Enter students in ADVANSYS and monitor and problem solve the integration process into Colleague Enter and approve time in ADVANSYS Ensure that all students in the High School Equivalency diploma and Adult High School diploma programs are graduated in ADVANSYS when they have met requirements Enter and approve Initial Placement and Post-Tests in ADVANSYS Generate and prepare student data reports for the Director of College and Career Readiness to ensure that instructors and other support staff collect student data when needed Generate reports for Testing/Attendance and filter by instructor to send out weekly to ensure an open line of communication with all instructors and that data is entered on a weekly basis Monitor data in Power BI and Colleague for accuracy Generate reports in/from ADVANSYS, Colleague, and Power BI to track MSG rates and FTE Maintains individual files for all students that contain LEIS forms as well as pre/post-testing data Identify and correct any student data to ensure performance and Measurable Skills Gains (MSG's) are recorded accurately Serve as a liaison and contact person to solve more complex student data issues with all instructors and support staff Responsible for collecting and entering all program data that is required to be reported by the state (NCCCS) and federal government (OCTAE) Create and maintain data tracking spreadsheets Use DiplomaSender to track graduate completions Submit and track NCCCS ServiceNow tickets Assist with ensuring that attendance is reported accurately each semester for FTE purposes for all classes Finalize the grading process of courses in ADVANSYS Assist with Transcript Evaluation process in ADVANSYS Provide professional development to staff regarding testing, MSG, and Period of Participation (POP) standards Assist with equipment and software maintenance Maintain security of personal computer access Serve on college committees as assigned by supervisor Perform other professional or job-related duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities

Requirements: Education/Skills Required: Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution
Experience Preferred: Experience working with data in the College and Career Readiness/Basic Skills Program.
Experience working with Colleague and ADVANSYS.
