Job Description

DLS Discovery's Litigation and eDiscovery support role empowers team members to learn and manage numerous technologies and workflows to support our clients on a project-by-project basis.
DLS provides each eDiscovery employee the opportunity to grow in the direction to which they accel.
Each current team member works with clients on various stages of eDiscovery from forensic data collection to document review management to the creation of courtroom exhibits.
The role is fast-paced and a high level of critical thinking and problem solving are the keys to success at DLS Discovery.

The general role of the Litigation and eDiscovery Support Analyst is to evaluate and process sets of data based on the specifications in scope for the client and matter.
Support tasks are those requiring any level of technical, eDiscovery, or litigation support experience.

DLS Discovery strives to handle cases as a team, collaborating with each other to complete tasks using or following a manageable workflow, documenting steps along the way as needed.
As a team, we accomplish creating dynamic litigation solutions for technology driven needs in a repeatable, defensible format.

The Litigation and eDiscovery Support role may include:
Collecting electronically stored information ("ESI") from custodian devices using forensic collection techniques.
Creating data summary reports of collected or client provided ESI.
eDiscovery processing for the purpose of: Searching, investigating, and culling datasets.
Document conversion for legal production volumes Creation and formatting of deliverable and incoming volumes for compatibility with client provided specification and/or document review or management systems.
Hosted review data management for uploading new datasets to litigation review software solutionsInvestigate, problem solving and resolution of issues and/or client concerns related to a dataset which may be sourced from either technical or legal issuesDatabase setup, user training and supportLitigation support including the execution of summary reports and data analytics.

As an Analyst works with a dataset, they should maintain a high level of organization and communication with team members and clients, keeping project logs and notes up to date.
Each analyst is responsible for tracking their time spent on projects.
Analysts will help to develop project specific workflows and solutions to share with other team members to refine processes and identify efficiency improvements.
Under normal circumstances, an Analyst will receive specifications and go ahead to begin work from a case expert prior to beginning a task.
This will help to maintain a normalized workflow and determine priority for incoming data.
As DLS works with a small team and dedicated analysts, you may often be assigned as a project lead overseeing the case-expert role for a matter.


Qualifications

Experience in EDiscovery or PC/Mac/Mobile forensics is requested.
1+ years of relevant experience is desired.

The ability to work independently and utilize documentation and peer support to solve problems and complete requests is required.
Step-by-step instructions rarely apply without nuances from task to task.

Experience in the following is desired:
Relativity v. 10.0 and laterTextpad and/or regular expressionsMicrosoft Excel for the purpose of comparing data through lookups and other formulasEDiscovery Software (any platform) for the purpose of EDiscovery processing and reviewMicrosoft WordCellebrite, FTK Imager or EnCaseCSDISCO
Available to work on-site in Wilmington, DE M-F and on-call, 1 weekend a month, remotely.
Available from 3 PM Eastern to 11 PM Eastern.
