Job Description: Our client is hiring a Legal Assistant to support their expanding team.
The role involves assisting multiple attorneys, including a non-equity attorney, a senior attorney, and a junior attorney.
Key tasks include managing e-filing, preparing legal documents, supporting trial preparations, and handling client billing and expense reports.
Key Responsibilities: Manage e-filing for state and federal cases.Prepare and format legal documents, including appellate briefs.Assist with trial preparations, such as organizing files and preparing notebooks.Support attorneys with scheduling, meetings, and client billing.Collaborate with the legal team to ensure efficient operations. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience as a legal assistant with litigation and trial experience.Strong understanding of Texas appellate procedures (experience outside Texas is not applicable).Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.Experience with Acrobat Pro and iManage is a plus.
