Litigation Attorney

Trustpoint One is pleased to partner with a premier law firm in its search for a Staff Attorney in the firms Miami office.
Attorneys will need to commute between Miami and West Palm Beach for hearings and meetings.
Duties include:
- Handling defensive litigation matters on behalf of large corporations, in the personal injury and financial services practice areas in state and federal court as well as private arbitration
- Handle in-person appearances at court hearings, depositions, settlement conferences and
client meetings
- Draft pleadings, discovery and other litigation documents, assist with strategy and negotiation, attend to case deadlines and other matter management responsibilities
- Work individually and collaboratively with partners, associates and other staff attorneys.

Qualifications
- Juris Doctor
- Member in good standing of the Florida Bar
- At least 3 years of litigation experience that includes in-court appearances, legal drafting and matter management.

- Fluent in Spanish is preferred.

All candidates must be able to work at a computer screen for a sustained amount of time.
