Litigation Attorney

Opportunity to join one of the fastest growing and most prestigious law firms in Hudson Valley. We are currently looking to expand our commercial litigation team as we continue to grow. This is a full-time, on-site role for an experienced commercial litigation attorney who is energetic and enthusiastic, with the dedication and drive to help support the future of the litigation department. The litigation attorney will be responsible for managing an extensive caseload and day-to-day tasks such as legal research, drafting motions, court appearances, conducting depositions, and providing strategic legal counsel to clients. Qualifications Experience in plaintiff's and defendant's representation in civil and commercial litigation matters. Strong knowledge of New York State and Federal civil procedure. Experience in preparing motions, conducting trials and depositions. Strong courtroom presence and ability to advocate for clients effectively. Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Admission to the New York State bar and in good standing Minimum of five years prior experience in litigation at a reputable law firm.
