Our client, a reputable law firm with offices in Downtown Miami, is seeking a skilled Litigation Legal Assistant to join their dynamic team.
The firm specializes in a wide range of legal services and prides itself on delivering exceptional results for its clients.

The Litigation Legal Assistant will provide comprehensive support to attorneys in all aspects of case management, from initial filings to trial preparation.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation and must be proficient in both state and federal e-filing procedures.


Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with the preparation, filing, and service of legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, motions, and subpoenas.

- Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and readily accessible.

- Coordinate and schedule meetings, hearings, depositions, and trials.

- Conduct legal research and gather pertinent information to support case strategies.

- Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, court personnel, and other parties as required.

- Maintain and manage attorney calendars, tracking deadlines to ensure timely completion of tasks.

- Draft and proofread correspondence, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

- Prepare materials for trials and hearings, including exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.

- Perform state and federal e-filing of legal documents in accordance with court requirements.

- Provide general administrative support, including photocopying, scanning, and filing.

- Perform other duties as assigned to support the litigation team.


Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Litigation Legal Assistant.

- Proficiency in state and federal e-filing procedures is required.

- Strong understanding of legal terminology, court procedures, and document management.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis).

- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- High level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
