Job Description: AMS Staffing, Inc. is seeking a skilled Litigation Paralegal to join one of its clients in its personal injury practice with a concentration in med mal.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years of experience handling personal injury matters on the plaintiff's side from inception to trial.
The firm is wiling to train in the med mal component of the practice.
This candidate must have experience with personal injury matters on the Plaintiffs side.
This is also an amazing opportunity for an experienced paralegal who is seeking to gain experience in medical malpractice.
Required Skills and Experience: Achieve proper service of hospitals.Attend client meetings.Extensive medical records motions.Prepare medical chronologies.Ability to supervise two junior paralegals/assistantsDrafting pleadings, motions.Conducting discovery (both propounding and responding to)Coordinating experts.Obtaining witness statements.Obtaining reductions.Assisting with deposition, mediation, and trial preparation.Managing litigation calendar.
