Job Description:
Valero Energy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Live Chat Officer to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana. As a part-time position at the entry level, this role offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Respond to customer inquiries and provide assistance through live chat channels- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing and resolving issues in a timely manner- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless communication and support for customers- Analyze chat interactions to identify opportunities for improvement in customer service processes- Follow company guidelines and procedures to uphold quality standards in all interactions- Provide accurate information to customers regarding products, services, and promotions- Maintain a positive attitude and uphold the company's values in all interactions with customers
Requirements:- 1 year of experience in a customer service or related role preferred- Strong communication skills and ability to articulate information clearly and concisely- Excellent teamwork skills and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment- Proficiency in using live chat software and customer service platforms- Must be dedicated and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service
