Job Description:

As a Live Chat Specialist at Nordstrom in Washington, D.C., your primary responsibility will be to engage with customers through live chat to provide exceptional customer service and support. You will be the first point of contact for customers seeking assistance with their orders, products, or any other inquiries they may have.

Responsibilities:1. Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner through live chat.2. Assist customers with product recommendations, order tracking, returns, and exchanges.3. Provide information about promotions, sales, and any other relevant information to customers.4. Escalate complex customer issues to the appropriate department for resolution.5. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.6. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience.7. Stay up to date on product knowledge and company policies to better assist customers.8. Meet or exceed customer satisfaction metrics and targets.

Requirements:1. Passionate and motivated individual who is dedicated to providing excellent customer service.2. Strong people management skills to effectively communicate with customers.3. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.4. Excellent written communication skills.5. Strong project management skills to handle multiple inquiries simultaneously.
