About the Role Kitsap Credit Union is hiring a full-time Loan Processor to work hybrid out of our Harborside corporate office in beautiful Bremerton, WA. This position is responsible for quality customer service by assisting multiple channels of customers with questions regarding funding and auditing, funding contracts for multiple product lines, opening new accounts, and performing clerical duties.

Salary Range: $19.61 - $23.00/hr depending on experience
Bonus Target: 5% potential incentive of base pay
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM
Grade: 5BC
What you will do Provide knowledgeable answers to questions on processes, funding, and services of Finance channels to both customers and to other Kitsap Credit Union employees.Provide professional customer service both via phone and email in a high volume, fast paced environment.Provide accurate loan pay-off information to dealers as requested.Perform customer identification verification to include contacting members directly to verify contract and ID information.Fund contracts for multiple product lines.Follow up contact to the customer to resolve any delays in funding.Work directly with accounting to resolve any GL discrepancies pertaining to loan proceeds, ACH Originations and/or dealer reserves.Document and draft procedures as they relate to process improvements or procedural changes.Serve as department Safety/Security Officer to ensure department compliance with annual security training requirements.Audit loan packages including verification of approval conditions, accurate calculations and required documentation.Assist Director, Indirect Lending with monthly reporting.Add/maintain dealer agreements and supporting documents in KCU's vendor management system.Prepare and distribute daily production reports to each dealership.Calculate and verify proof of income for borrowers as necessary with various sources of documentation.Track and process dealer reserve chargebacks.Basic Qualifications High School diploma or GED required.Preferred Qualifications One year experience with credit union systems, loan funding and the opening of new accounts preferred.Our Values Integrity: We believe in acting with honesty, trust, and respect which are at the forefront of our daily engagement.
