Job Description: Loan Review Manager

The Loan Review Manager role provides leadership to our people and clients to deliver Crowe's loan review and credit consulting services, including outsourced and co-sourced loan review, staff augmentation, credit consulting, and credit remediation.
Individuals in this role have deep specialization in the loan review and all aspects of commercial banking.
Managers are also responsible for identifying and developing opportunities at both new and existing clients.


In this role, you will:
Have strong sense of responsibility for engagement management, including project planning, oversight, budget tracking, supervision and review of work, oversight and development of staff Support the business development process including developing leads, interacting with prospects, working with a team to develop meaningful proposals, and supporting client onboarding Passion and energy for growing and nurturing members of the team and clients by sharing credit expertise with Crowe staff and to client leadership Interpret regulatory changes and develop solutions to address them, including developing thought leadership and providing training for internal and external parties Identify and evaluate credit risks including newly evolving risks in the market, have an understanding of credit controls which help to mitigate risks, and related opportunities for internal control improvement Support internal project initiatives Qualifications:
Educational and Professional Credentials Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics or equivalent combination of education and experience 5+ years of experience in loan review, commercial credit management role, professional services or consulting Credit certification such as CRC or BAI would be a positive Preferred Knowledge and Skills Strong knowledge of U.S. banking laws and regulations, specifically those which pertain to commercial credit, underwriting, and credit department management.
Prior experience managing within a loan review team and maintaining a network of credit professionals would be a benefit to this role.
Exposure to larger financial institutions ($10 billion and up) preferred Prior experience with leverage lending and large corporate would be a positive Demonstrated experience overseeing and performing loan reviews or providing other credit consulting services Highly effective communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of management with limited supervision Strong prior experience with technology including excel, powerpoint, FIS, Jack Henry, nCino, FISERV, and other Banking software Experience with data analysis is helpful Working knowledge of project planning and project management methods and tools Experience with business development, including relationship development and preparing proposals Supervisory experience, including reviewing staff workpapers and providing feedback Strong organizational, interpersonal and presentation skills Willingness to travel.
While we have increased the amount of remote work performed, travel is still an expectation of the role and some travel will be required to interact with clients and nurture teams on location.
