Loan Set-Up Coordinator

Job Description

Under the direction of the Branch Manager or Operations Manager, assists branch staff with loan file set-up.

Responsibilities Assembles and logs file documents submitted by loan originators and distributes to processing staff. Assists loan originators and processors by ordering property related items as needed.
(i.e., appraisals, title, insurance, etc.
) Assists processors in obtaining VOE, VOR, and other documents as needed. Reviews file documents to verify appropriate documents and disclosures are included. Uploads documents and information into appropriate software programs. Reviews and prepares invoices for payment and tracks to verify payments have been made. May assist with receptionist duties and cover telephones for processors when necessary. Assists with managing office supplies and office equipment. Maintains a professional image and adheres to standards consistent with company policies and procedures. Other functions as needed.
Qualifications High School Diploma required Minimum of 1 year processing experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with branch, regional and corporate personnel, as well as title companies, appraisers, etc. Demonstrated judgment and decision making ability. Must be available to work all regularly scheduled hours; arriving at scheduled reporting time and at the prescribed time after any breaks or lunch periods. Must be able to work overtime, as required.
