Local Cdl A Driver

Kett Engineering is hiring experienced, dependable and safe drivers to join our team at our customer location in New Carlisle, IN. The full-time position requires the drivers to drive and evaluate advanced tractor/trailers and other vehicles for testing purposes.
Drivers will be conducting the pre & post trip safety inspections as required of the vehicles. Commercial vehicles will be driving on "real world" durability test routes on various road surfaces throughout the shift.
This unique role will require a qualified CDL A holder to also have the Passenger Endorsement. This endorsement is necessary to qualify to operate various types of vehicles for this role.

Shift Hours: 2nd shift: 4:30 pm - 2:30 am
Pay rate is $26.00 - $28.00/hr. DOE plus benefits
Qualification: Must have CDL A and DOT Card. Must have Passenger Endorsement. Must have a clean driving history for at least the past 3 years.  No at-fault accidents, DUIs, DWIs. Must have Manual Transmission Experience. Must have at least 3 years tractor trailer experience. Attention to detail with the ability to communicate findings both verbally and in writing. Able to contribute in a team environment. Must pass pre-employment drug and background screens. Must be tech savvy and have a smartphone.
