This job is offering Weekly Avg $1600.Drivers are hauling primarily bananas and occasionally pineapples or plantains.
They will pull loads from the drop yard just down the street from the port.
They may directly pick up from the port if needed.
Drivers will haul a 40' container on a chassis to various customer locations.
MUST HAVE 6 months container/tanker experience.Drivers primarily haul bananas, with occasional loads of pineapples or plantains.
They will pick up loads from a drop yard located just down the street from the port and may also be required to directly pick up from the port if necessary.
The drivers will haul 40' containers on chassis to various customer locations.
Shifts typically start between 5 PM and midnight, and drivers work six-day work weeks, including weekends.
As a result, drivers should expect to work every weekend.
Most drivers return home after each dispatch, except for those running the Brooklyn, NY lane or when running out of hours due to traffic or breakdowns.
The job mainly involves drop-and-hook operations, with a few lanes requiring live unloads.

Pay rates are as follows: Please note that there is no layover pay, even if drivers are required to take their 10-hour break over the road.
