Looking for Cath lab experienced tech on call availability evenings and weekend rotation , working hours 7 AM-3:30 PM Needs ARRT, scrub experience.
The Cardiac Cath Tech III performs a wide variety work involving operating a complex range of physiological hemodynamic monitoring and recording equipment.
The tech will also operate radiographic equipment including PACS. The tech will be involved with the the diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral
vascular dissease.The Cardiac Tech III provides technical support to the patients, physicians and nursing staff. The Cardiac Tech III is also involved in the teaching and instructing of other technicians, including
professional and non professional personnel, in all aspects of procedure room techniques; and supports the unit in order to maintain a safe, clean and orderly work environment. QUALIFICATIONS Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) National Institutes of Health (NIH) Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. The ability to stand for extended periods. Strong technical skills. Knowledge of medical terminology Passionate about patient care Requires a minimum of two years of Cardiac Cath Lab Tech experience. Graduate from a fully accredited Radiology Tech/Cardiac program Active unencumbered Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Illinois state license One year of Epic experience One year of Cardiac Cath Lab scrub experience ARRT Certification required Requirements COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster. Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients. A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
