Description Driver
Reports to: Distribution Manager
Scope
Drivers are responsible to deliver product on time in a safe manner.
They must maintain product integrity in transit, verify delivery and return quantities and clean trucks.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
1.
Verify delivery quantities and load trucks.
2.
Deliver product in a safe and timely manner.
3.
Maintain product integrity throughout delivery cycle.
4.
Count and collect returns.
5.
Accurately complete all delivery tickets.
6.
Upon return to facility, unload racks and baskets and ensure truck is clean.
7.
Communicate with the Distribution Manager concerns that are impeding efficient performance of tasks.
8.
Communicate to the Distribution Manager customer complaints regarding product quality, delivery or service.
9.
Perform additional duties upon request.
10.
Complete the Driver Log and Delivery checklist and ensure that all tasks are complete.
11.
Practice "Clean As You Go."
12.
Report to work on time and maintain good personal hygiene.
13.
Perform according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety guidelines throughout the production shift.
14.
Strictly adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Minimum Driver Requirements: MFM drivers must meet and posses the following requirements and those requirements as stated in FMCSA 391.11 & 391.13: Valid driver's license issued by the state of which they liveMinimum Class "C" licenseDOT Medical CardMinimum of 21 years old Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with NO convictions for the following: Reckless drivingDUI, DWI, or other alcohol or substance abuse related charges within the previous 5 yearsPoints are subject to approval by the company & it's insurance carrierLicense must have not been suspended or revoked within the previous 5 years Must successfully pass: DOT Physical ExamDrug Screen. Pay rate: $136.00 per day during 30 day probation and $140.00 per day thereafter.Work part-time hours but receive full-time pay and full-time benefits Requirements C-Class Drivers license with good driving record and valid Medical DOT CardPhysically able to load, unload and deliver racks.Must have knowledge of basic math and reading (English) skills.Good interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work well in a team environment.Must be able to work nights and weekends Company Information
