What we're seeking:This position will provide direct construction leadership and oversight for projects built in an assigned geographic area. This may be by providing direct leadership to a company workforce of line workers and splicers tasked with placing & splicing copper and fiber cables, pole placement & removals etc. or it may be interfacing with a construction vendor who provides these services ensuring in both instances that work is completed in a safe & professional manner following all company and industry standards.

What you'll do:Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Meet project in-service dates while ensuring through appropriate inspection that projects are constructed as designed or as modified if field conditions necessitate after consultation with engineering.Manage work and workforce under established capital and expense budget objectives, including an accurate review and approval of contractor invoices.Work closely with vendor partners to ensure that they manage their work and perform as outlined in their agreements.Help remove roadblocks associated with permit requirements by communicating with permitting agencies.Responsible for setting team goals in alignment with department goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPI).Consistently provides feedback and direction to staff to ensure employee development and engagement.Partners with Human Resources to ensure firm, fair and consistent application of HR practices/policies.Ensures employee advocacy and a positive work environment by listening and responding to employee feedback.Maintain a safe work environment by conducting regularly scheduled safety meetings and training.What we offer:Nothing is more important to our success than the team that built it. Salary Range: $67,000 to $165,00020 PTO (Paid Time Off) days + 10 paid holidays per yearDay one medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug plan401k match of 50% on 6% of eligible compensationTuition Assistance ProgramPersonal & Work Life Balance Resources & Wellness Support AssistanceEmployee Resource GroupsSame-sex spouse and domestic partner benefits coverage10 weeks of paid parental leave, & a phased return to work program for new parentsUp to $10k in adoption program assistance3 weeks of paid caregiver leaveWhat background you should have:3+ years of prior supervisory experienceMust be able to interact with internal/external customers and various community leaders to establish relationships.Must possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills along with a strong work ethic.Extensive knowledge of engineering, plant service center, and outside plant functions.Must possess basic PC skills: Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook.Advanced knowledge of outside plant construction functions for both copper and fiber.Must possess basic understanding of electronics, electrical circuitry, and network installation.Must be available 24/7 to support off-shift technicians and emergency situations.Must be able to work in inclement weather.Training/ Education Required:BA/BS in Telecommunications, Operations Management, or Business Administration preferred.Must possess a valid state driver's license.Frontier salaries are estimated by third parties and may or may not reflect actual or total compensation.
