Locum Cardiovascular Surgeon

The Locum Cardiovascular Surgeon is a highly skilled and experienced surgeon who provides temporary coverage for the Cardiovascular Surgery department. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cardiovascular surgery principles and techniques and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities: Provide temporary coverage for the Cardiovascular Surgery department as needed Perform a variety of cardiovascular surgical procedures, including: Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) Valve repair and replacement Aortic aneurysm repair Peripheral vascular surgery Preoperative evaluation and postoperative care of patients Consult with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans Stay up-to-date on the latest advances in cardiovascular surgery Participate in research and education activities Qualifications: MD degree from an accredited medical school Board certification in cardiovascular surgery 5+ years of experience as a cardiovascular surgeon Strong clinical and technical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Additional Information: This is a locum tenens position with a flexible schedule The ideal candidate will be available to work on short notice Competitive salary and benefits package Salary is based on experience and work hours.
