About The Position SPECIALTY: OBGYN- Hospitalist LOCATION: Northern California Locums: 1099 JOB NUMBER: 47829 DESCRIPTION:  Site will take flexible availability for Oct-Dec (ideally M-F or Sun-Sun) 5-7 days/month Shift type- 24-hour call for OB and Gyn ED, No clinic or office patients.  Physicians do not need to remain in house but must be within 20-minute response time.  Types of Cases - Full scope OB GYN No NICU  Patients Per Day- 16-20 Admissions per Day - N/A Deliveries vary, monthly is about 40 REQUIRED:  Board Certified OBGYN – Required CA License Active – Required Residency requirements/ Fellowship- IM/FP, OB GYN BLS, DEA, NRP/PALS– Required during credentialing  Availability for the dates at name clear – REQUIRED Clean malpractice/background for credentialing – REQUIRED -Local, No flights - HIGHLY PREFERRED COMPENSATION: ·        Competitive Market Rate (rate based on availability, experience, certifications, housing and transportation needs, etc.) ·        Malpractice insurance provided PLEASE NOTE: Your information will not be shared without your prior approval.
